Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including preparing patients for exams, collecting vital signs, and documenting information in the electronic medical record.
- Assist providers with exams, procedures, and tests, as needed.
- Collect and prepare laboratory specimens, perform phlebotomy, and assist with minor surgical procedures.
- Support administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, filing reports, and responding to phone calls and inquiries.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited 1-year certificate or 2-year diploma Medical Assistant program.
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assist (RMA) required.
- Basic Life Support Certification within 6 months.
