- The ID physician will diagnose and manage infectious diseases in all types of patients, including those requiring antibiotic treatment.
- Expertise may also include preventive medicine and conditions related to travel.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical care to patients with infectious diseases, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
- Interview patients to gather information about their medical history, symptoms, and family history.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop effective treatment plans.
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree (required).
- Licensed Medical Doctor in the State of Pennsylvania (required).
