About the Role:
We are seeking a part-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Hospital Medicine team at Geisinger Lewistown Hospital.
Your Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with physicians to provide care to new and established patients
- Demonstrate autonomy through patient evaluation, assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care
- Order testing as necessary and remain proficient in interpreting results and prescribing appropriate medication and therapeutic regimen within scope of practice
- Provide triage, telephone communication, and patient education
Requirements:
- Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies (Required)
- Certified Physician Assistant - National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
