Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Safety Monitoring Specialist to join our team in Waverly, Pennsylvania. As a key member of our patient care team, you will be responsible for monitoring and supporting patients during overnight hours.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor patients' progress and ensure they are safely located on their designated floor.
- Conduct regular room checks to guarantee all patients are present and accounted for.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations, utilizing your expertise and training to provide effective support.
- Maintain accurate records of events and incidents using our daily log system.
- Communicate with other shifts and staff members through voice mail and written reports.
To excel in this role, you must be able to stay awake and alert throughout the shift, with current certification in CPR and basic First Aid.
Requirements:
- 1 year of experience in patient care, preferably in a clinical environment.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED).
- CPR and Basic Life Support Certification from American Heart Association.
