Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial assessments and triage patients based on presenting conditions.
- Track pertinent procedure and laboratory results, discuss with physician, and return call to family and patient regarding results and plans.
- Arrange appropriate follow-up for patients.
- Respond to phone calls from established patients and their families, assessing their needs.
- Collaborate with physician to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Coordinate preauthorization process for medications, diagnostic studies, and treatments.
