As a Product Category Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the strategy and success of one of our key product categories. At Gelato, the Product Category Manager is a key role, acting as the CEO of your category. You will take full ownership of its performance, requiring exceptional collaboration and influencing skills to work closely with Marketing, Sales, Customer Service, Tech, and Network Management teams. This is your chance to lead in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, combining deep product expertise with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
- Define and execute strategy : Develop and implement the roadmap for your product category in collaboration with key stakeholders. Your success will directly impact Gelato’s growth and market leadership.
- Own the P&L : Take full responsibility for the financial performance of your category, ensuring budgets are met and margins optimized.
- Know the market : Stay ahead by understanding customer needs, market trends, and competitors, ensuring Gelato's offerings remain world-class.
- Drive innovation : Research and develop new products, collaborating with R&D, Operations, Marketing, and Finance teams to bring ideas to life.
- Optimize production : Partner with suppliers and manufacturers to refine workflows and processes, enhancing quality and operational excellence.
- Collaborate and align : Foster strong partnerships with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Sales, Customer Service, Tech, and Network Management, ensuring seamless execution of category initiatives.
- Deliver excellence : Measure and enhance key performance metrics like revenue growth, customer adoption, delivery speed, and product availability.
