We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have experience managing the accounts payable process, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and record-keeping. This position is critical to maintaining strong vendor relationships and supporting the overall financial operations of the company.
Duties
- Process, verify, and reconcile invoices and payment requests.
- Ensure all invoices are coded to the appropriate accounts and departments.
- Verify and reconcile vendor settlements in Razor ERP and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Maintain and organize records of accounts payable transactions.
- Respond to vendor inquiries regarding payment status or issues.
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve billing issues or discrepancies.
- Review and reconcile credit card charges, ensuring proper coding and documentation for each transaction.
Skills
- Associate’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Prior experience (1-2 years) in accounts payable or general accounting role.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and accounts payable processes.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent 10 key typing skills for accurate data entry.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and collaborate with multiple departments.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
