This position will work at our Meridian Center.
POSITION: Part- Time (29.75 hours per week)
WAGES: $20.00 per billable hour.
TRANSPORTATION: We use company vans to transport participants.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide positive modeling and socialization skills to children and adolescents with developmental and intellectual disabilities.
- We develop targeted strategies to reduce problematic behaviors.
- We schedule fun activities throughout the day.
- We provide consistent training so staff can problem-solve efficiently.
EXPERIENCE & EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years old.
- Bachelor’s Degree in the human service field, or bachelor’s degree in a non-human service-related field with 24 minimum semester credits in the human services field
- 1,040 hours of supervised experience with children with disabilities is REQUIRED!
- Criminal background check through DHW (provided)
- Valid Idaho driver’s license
- CPR/First Aid Certification (provided)
CENTER LOCATIONS: Nampa or Meridian
CENTER HOURS OF OPERATION: Mon-Fri (8.00 am to 6.00 pm)
