ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a Associate Project Manager, DOE to join our team supporting the Los Alamos National Laboratory! This position is full-time and will be based out of Richland, WA.

Responsibilities

• Manages and ensures the timely completion of discrete technical or operational project tasks.

• Adheres to technical requirements for the project.

• Defines project deliverables, budgets, schedules, and risks.

• Oversees the project team in the planning, tracking, and execution of the project from initiation to completion.

• Assists with the development of and monitoring program budgets.

• Providing technical advice to staff, other departments.

• Performs related work as required.

Requirements

• Education & Years of Experience – Bachelor’s Degree and 2 years of relevant experience; additional, relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

• Citizenship – To be considered, you must be a United States (U.S.) citizen due to the federal nature of the work.

• Clearance – To be considered, you must be able to obtain and maintain a government issued clearance, if needed.

• Must have DOE and/or NRC experience supporting engineering/construction projects, and/or experience or training in radiation protection or industrial hygiene.

About the Site

The NNSA's Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL), located in Los Alamos, New Mexico, is a design laboratory responsible for the safety and reliability of the nuclear explosives package in nuclear weapons. This lab possesses unique capabilities in neutron scattering, enhanced surveillance, radiography, and plutonium science and engineering (energy.gov).

Compensation Range: $75K - $115K
