ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking an Industrial Hygiene and Safety Professional to join our team supporting the Oak Ridge National Laboratory ! This position is full-time and will be based out of Oak Ridge, Tennessee. This role is anticipated to be short-term (6 months) with the possibility of extension.
Responsibilities
- Provide Industrial Hygiene & Safety technical guidance to operations on environmental remediation problems and issues.
- Monitoring, assessing, and resolving health and safety issues in the work environment.
- Identifying and evaluating chemical / material dangers in hazard analysis / exposure assessment activities.
- Utilizing IH instrumentation including calibration, usage, limitations, and calculations / interpretations of results.
- Implementing applicable occupational health and safety regulations and procedures.
