6 Month Contract
This will be a full-time position of at least 40 hours and some overtime Monday thru Sunday may occur. The normal schedule will be Monday thru Thursday from 06:00 to 16:30.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- performing project oversight inspections
- performing hazard assessments
- perform accident/injury investigations
- reviewing safety documents
- attending various project meetings
- must be able to climb ladders/stairs, work in hot/cold environments, and operate a motor vehicle.
Education:
BA/BS Degree plus 20 years of direct experience with 10 years of DOE/DOD-specific experience required, or an MA or MS Degree, plus 18 years of direct experience with 10- years of DOE/DOD-specific experience.
Work Environment / Physical Demands:
Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards. Light to moderate lifting may be required for packages and other items, ability to walk short distances, may be regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and keyboard.
Due to government and/or federal regulations for this position, proof of U.S. citizenship is required.
