The Pricing Analyst compiles and analyzes statistical data to establish price objectives for sales
transactions.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provides daily support to sales force and branch personnel on pricing issues.
- Prepares special customer pricing quotations.
- Assists with claiming and all related claiming activities, including serial number coordination, with
- Works with accounting, when needed, to clear monthly aging reports.
- Identifies low margin issues.
- Prepares and analyzes reports.
- Coordinates Vendor setup and maintenance as requested - gathering forms, obtain approvals,
- Compiles information from periodicals, catalogs, etc. to keep informed on price trends.
- Other duties and ad hoc reporting as requested.
Job Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Economics or Finance preferred or 5 years of related experience.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills with the ability to prepare and analyze data
- Beginner to intermediate user of Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Outlook.
- Ability to learn new software quickly and accurately.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- 3 years of experience in pricing, financial accounting or business planning desired.
