Gemini Construction Company, LLC Gemini Construction is the construction arm of Hull Property Group and specializes in performing all aspects of retail construction in operating environments. Gemini Construction works in cooperation with Hull Property Group to complete large scale renovation and demolition projects, everyday site work and store build outs for national retailers at all of the company's retail properties. Together Hull Property Group and Gemini Construction work to create welcoming and functional shopping environments that appeal to both tenants and customers.
Based in the Augusta office, the Design Drafter position will assist Senior Management in design for the company's retail properties. In addition, they will be responsible for updating lease plans and property management files. Obtain information to draw LODs and perform other tasks as requested, including managing outside consultants.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Obtain measurements and other information required to generate As-Built drawings of vacant suites.
- Generate Lease plan, Site plan, Floor Plan, and/or presentation renderings.
- Maintain Lease plans and Site plans.
- Generate detailed construction documents for horizontal and vertical improvements.
- Generate detailed plats from legal descriptions and other recorded documents.
- Produce accurate and detailed drawings.
- Maintain up-to-date drawings for the latest revision of construction.
- Interface with architects, engineers, and other design professionals to ensure customers'/clients' needs are fully met.
- Coordinate with construction project managers to provide tenants and landlords with desired improvements.
- Support leasing, property management, and construction regarding planning activities, LODs, proposed improvements, renderings, and drawings for construction.
- Proactively interacts with ownership, other departments, and external customers concerning construction build-outs.
- Provide "judgment" to resolve issues related to the design and construction processes while maintaining good value.
- Ensure that working drawings are produced following all applicable codes and laws.
- Ensure that work is done with a 100% satisfaction rating using quantitative production and quality control metrics to satisfy customer requirements.
- Review and approve completed plans before final submittal.

Requirements:Qualifications
- Must be detail-oriented.
- Must be able to work efficiently independently and in a team environment.
- Skilled in AutoCAD - Required
- Civil 3D, Revit, and Adobe Photoshop/InDesign experience preferred.
- Must possess skills necessary to manage the construction process efficiently.
- Must have excellent communication skills and can prioritize and multi- task while meeting critical deadlines.
- Possess a can-do attitude bringing an interest to learn and grow with the company.
Ability to commute/relocate: Augusta, GA 30909: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
