- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, or 4-6 years related experience, or a combination of education and experience
- Full knowledge of IATF-16949/ISO 9001
- Fully trained in Core Tools: PPAP 4th edition, 3/06-APQP 1st edition, 2/95-FMEA 3rd edition, 7/01-MSA 2nd edition 2/95 and SPC 2nd edition, 7/05

Essential Job Functions
- Direct problem-solving activities, based on customer rejections/complaints, and respond to customer concerns.
- Direct activities which ensure product and raw material conformance.
- Coordinate, monitor, and verify effectiveness of process/product improvement activities and corrective action plans.
- Provide data for the Cost-of-Quality tracking program, using results to prioritize problem solving and continuous improvement activities. Provide information and create quality graphs.
- Oversee PPAP activity and ensure PPAP timeliness
- Perform on-line inspections for quality, packaging, labeling, and overall adherence to quality standards
- Schedule and oversee all internal audit functions and act as audit manager
- Maintain Quality and Procedure manuals and related work instructions for the IATF-16949 system
- Manage and conduct all Customer audits
- Member of QOS team. APQP team and Management Staff team.
- Supplier surveillance, including surveys, annual audits, and raw material audits.
- To perform duties of the management representative outlined in the Quality System Manual.
- Supervise quality document control, including blueprints and quality records.
- Manage all Customer Websites, all accesses and applications.
- Travel domestically and internationally as required to address customer concerns.
- Review Material Requirement Planning Reports (MRP) for anticipated production supply needs.
- Responsible for issuing incoming defective material reports to suppliers and returning any defective materials.
- Issue Purchase Order Numbers for raw material within CMS.
- Obtain price quotes for quote coordinators, engineering, and pre-production.
- Quarterly evaluation of Supplier performance.
- Annually review Suppliers and maintain the Approved Supplier list.
- Weekly physical inventories of purchased goods to ensure accuracy within CMS.
