We are seeking a skilled IT professional to develop and implement strategic roadmaps for scalable, resilient, and secure network architecture aligned with business objectives.
About the Role
This position involves working closely with other IT teams to align future business drivers with technology and data enterprise architectural roadmap.
Main Responsibilities
- Conduct ongoing analysis of industry, technology, and market trends to determine potential impacts on the enterprise.
- Lead the evaluation and design of network solutions across technologies to optimize, standardize the network, and address technical debt.
- Document current network architecture and define future architecture to address short-term and long-term needs of the enterprise.
Key Skills and Qualifications
- Expert level knowledge of networking concepts, architecture, and technologies.
- Proven ability and experience in development of the architecture and roadmap for network modernization.
- Experience with OpenStack, AWS, Azure, Oracle Cloud or VMware, and strong experience with complex networks, perimeter security management, and routing.
- Ability to document and diagram technical systems and architectures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or equivalent industry experience.
- 10 years' experience in network/systems architecture design and/or support in a Medium to Large environment.
- Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) certification is preferable.
