What are the responsibilities and job description for the Treasury Wire Manager position at Gen II?
Gen II is currently seeking a Treasury Wire Manager to join our growing team of professionals. This individual will be actively involved in the services noted below on multiple client engagements.
Tasks and responsibilities:
- Lead a growing team of centralized treasury individuals, that manage the day-to-day money movement and reconciliation activities for all Gen II clients
- Work with Principals, and their respective teams, across Gen II to manage payment instructions and timing of payments for investment capital calls, investor distributions and expenses
- Respond to client inquiries in a prompt manner, utilizing oral and written communications
- Manage and collaborate on workflow and processes associated with fund accountant and client requests
- Oversee the documentation of Standard Operating Procedures and Internal Control narratives related to the Treasury systems' functions with accuracy and completeness
- Identify opportunities for standardization, and continual process improvement and coordination where possible
- Ensure daily operations functions are completed in a timely manner
- Analyze workflow to ensure proper staffing levels of all treasury functions
- Provide mentoring and real-time performance-based feedback to the Treasury Team
- Provide training to Principal teams on treasury processes and procedures
- Serve as a client contact for any escalation needs
- Recognize product needs/gaps based on internal and external feedback
- Liaise with treasury product vendor(s) and banks
- Provide support, on an as-requested basis, to the accountants and investor service professionals
- Operate in a deadline driven, high volume and constantly changing environment
- Lead the hiring process for Treasury Operations
- Provide monthly statistics of the team’s volume and error rates
- Act as back up to supervisor(s) and manager(s) within Treasury
- Other duties/projects as assigned
Qualified candidates will possess the following experience and qualities:

- Bachelor’s Degree in finance or related field or related experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications

- 8 years experience within operations department in the finance/banking industry
- 5 years of supervisory experience within the finance/banking industry
Desired attributes:
- MBA
- Prior professional experience working in an office environment
- 7 years of supervisory experience within the finance/banking industry
- Familiarity with the SWIFT network
The salary range for this position is $70,000-$140,000 in addition to a discretionary bonus and comprehensive benefits package. Please note that the actual salary offered within that range will depend on the candidate’s experience level.
Work Arrangement
All applicants applying to Gen II Fund Services, LLC must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Please note that all US employees are required to work a hybrid schedule, comprised of two (2) days a week in our office and three (3) days remotely.
