Laboratory Technician
3 MONTH CONTRACT (POSSIBLE EXSTENSION)
We are seeking a dedicated Laboratory Technician to join our team and support food safety, quality, and operational initiatives. The ideal candidate will perform routine analytical testing, monitor instrumentation performance, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine product testing and analysis under moderate supervision.
- Document and communicate test results accurately in databases and reports.
- Support the development and maintenance of food safety and regulatory programs.
- Perform calibration checks, preventive maintenance, and minor repairs on laboratory equipment.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and internal quality procedures.
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative inspections of raw materials, in-process samples, and final products.
- Handle administrative and technical tasks related to laboratory operations.
Qualifications:
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating procedures, and technical documents.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures.
- Experience in a laboratory setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
