A leading telecommunications company is seeking a Lead Project Support Specialist to support its Wireless Implementation Team. This role is responsible for managing invoicing, billing, and accounts payable processes while ensuring budget adherence and accurate financial reporting.
This position involves vendor relations, contract review, invoice processing, budget tracking, and documentation of expenditures related to wireless telecommunications projects. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and skilled in accounting principles, project coordination, and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Invoice & Budget Management: Process invoice payments in Magnit, track financial progress, and maintain accurate financial documentation.
- Vendor Coordination: Onboard and train vendors, ensuring adherence to billing and compliance requirements.
- Contract Oversight: Monitor contract terms and ensure compliance with financial agreements.
- Reporting & Documentation: Generate reports on project milestones and financial deliverables for internal teams.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to streamline financial workflows.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain positive relationships with vendors, project teams, and internal departments.
- Work Order & System Management: Create and manage work orders, purchase orders, and project allocations in Magnit, WATTs, and Sitetracker.
- Billing & Compliance: Access and update customer billing databases for accurate project tracking.
- Problem-Solving: Address vendor and internal team inquiries with strategic problem-solving and industry knowledge.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable/Receivable, Change Management, Process Improvement, Project Management, or related fields.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a solid understanding of accounting principles and budgeting.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills for financial analysis and reporting.
- Proficiency in Oracle Financials for managing financial processes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with project management databases such as Magnit, Oracle, Salesforce/Sitetracker.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Background in telecommunications, particularly with carriers such as AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint, or Verizon.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across all organizational levels.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- A proactive, adaptable mindset suited for a fast-paced environment.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $20.71 - $21.28 per hour
