Role Description
This is a part-time on-site role for an Accounts Receivable Specialist at GENCOMM™. The Accounts Receivable Specialist will be responsible for invoicing all equipment and billing all customers. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to, invoicing, adjustments, ensuring all lien waivers are submitted correctly, answering customer questions concerning invoices, processing sales and use tax, end-of-month reports, and billing.
The ideal candidate will have worked in A/R in the construction business and understands the A/R cycle and financial entries, would like to work in the office from 7a - 12p four to five days a week (the time of day is flexible, but morning is ideal), has worked with the software Q360 (Solutions 360) or similar software, and is fast at data entry.
Responsibilities
- Process accounts receivable invoices regularly
- Process multiple state sales and use tax on a monthly, quarterly, semiannual, and annual basis, based on state requirements
- Process and track all lien waivers and client payments as they are received
- Interface with clients to resolve concerns about invoices and statements
- Bill all service calls
- Process AR adjustments every week with sales, operations, and production departments.
- Actively develop your personal skill sets through continuing education: industry certifications, computer skills, etc
- Other duties as required from time to time
Qualifications
The A/R Specialist shall possess a minimum of two years of experience in the field of Accounting. This person must be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and have excellent math and critical thinking skills. Individuals must have good communication skills, be self-starters, and have the ability to perform and complete high-quality work.
