What are the responsibilities and job description for the Loader Operator (Quarry) position at Gendron & Gendron?
Gendron Aggregates is seeking a motivated Pit Loader Operator experienced in operating and maintaining heavy equipment while maximizing productivity.
The Pit Loader Operator position will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness around processing plants, loading materials, and more. All while following instructions of leadership and working effectively as a team with other members of production
Responsibilities:
- Cleaning in and around the production plant
- Operating Loader equipment
- Checking equipment daily and logging details to ensure safe working conditions
- Assisting in the production of sand, loam, stone and gravels
-Pull product from plants and feed while keeping an eye on the plant for any issues that may arise
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to OSHA & MSHA regulations
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements:
- Experience using (or ability to learn) Loader and additional plant mobile equipment
- Ability to use shovel, broom, jackhammer, sweeper, forklift, bobcat
- Ability to operate commercial vehicles, such as loader, haul truck, water truck
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including lifting heavy materials and working in various weather conditions
- Previous experience in a similar labor-intensive role, preferably in a quarry or construction setting
Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
