Duties:
- Be able to load multiple trucks per day to meet DOT weight regulations.
- If in support of a pipe crew, the loader operator must keep stock piles organized and supply the proper material in a timely manner to the pipe crew.
- Keep both pit and site access roads smooth.
- Able to load trucks safely on both roads and sites.
- Safely using rigging to move materials or structures on the job site.
Requirements:
- Minimum 4 year experience operating loader
- Must have experience operating in the earthwork industry with all types of utilities - water, sewer, drainage, gas, and electric.
- Must be able to safely operate equipment around other workers, utilities, equipment, and other obstacles.
- Certifications such as OSHA 10, OSHA 30, and MSHA are a plus.
- Able to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis.
- Interest in pursuing additional training related to the construction industry is a plus.
