We continue to expand our operations and many divisions and are currently accepting applications for a Concrete Flatwork Foreman to join our team. As a member of our team, the flatwork foreman will oversee and coordinate the activities of flatwork crews to ensure that projects are completed safely, efficiently quality standards of Gene Frederickson Trucking & Excavating. The Flatwork Foreman will be responsible for managing all areas of flatwork construction projects, including personnel, resource allocation and planning.
A qualified Flatwork Foreman should have proven experience as a flatwork foreman or similar role in the concrete industry along with a strong knowledge of flatwork construction, materials and equipment.
Qualifications:
Excellent leadership and communication skills with team members and clients.
Solid understanding of construction blueprints and project requirements.
The ability to organize, plan and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
Basic maintenance skills for concrete equipment.
Ability to work 10 hours per day on a regular basis.
Valid driver’s license and a CDL is not mandatory, but preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Responsibilities:
Supervise, motivate and train flatwork crew members.
Work with project managers to meet project schedules and deadlines.
Coordinate material and equipment deliveries to project site.
Record daily time for crew along with materials used on the project.
Schedule inspections with site superintendents.
The ability to schedule and work with multiple subcontractors on project site.
Document any changes to scheduled work to project managers.
Ensure crew is following safety guidelines and working efficiently.

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
