Responsibilities- Lead and work with crew members setting concrete flatwork forms, grading, and finishing interior and exterior concrete for interior floors, sidewalks, free stall barns, and exterior slabs
- Work with project team to ensure proper staffing, materials, and equipment are on site to meet project deadlines
- Read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and specifications
- Maintain and enforce safety protocols and regulations on job sites
- Train and mentor crew members on proper concrete flatwork techniques
- Track and report progress of concrete flatwork projects through daily reports
- Operate hand and power tools, skid loaders, forklifts and other small construction equipment
- Address any issues or conflicts that may arise during construction
- Proven experience as a Concrete Flatwork Foreman or similar role
- Strong knowledge of concrete flatwork techniques and practices
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and specifications
- Demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to travel - usually within the state of WI
- Ability to walk, stand, stoop and bend for long periods of time while performing physical labor
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Ability to lift heavy objects (0-80lbs from ground to waist level, 0-50lbs from ground to shoulder level)
- Proficiency in using hand/power tools and equipment
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Must obtain Class A CDL within 60 days
