The Corporate Development Director is responsible for executing business development opportunities for the purposes of strategic development, licensing, merger or acquisition from inception to completion. This position is responsible for assigned region(s) acquisition pipeline, supporting Business Group strategic planning, organizing and coordinated enterprise-wide Strategic Alignment session.
Lead Strategic Planning Process
- Continuously improve process and tool sets to allow for Business Group consistency & success
- Business Group resource to support their "group level" strategy planning. Act as "consultant" to improve efficiency of process and final output.
- Coordinate annual Strategic Alignment Meeting
- Continuously improve process & tools to communicate corporate strategy at the enterprise & business group levels
- Lead assigned region(s) pipeline. Work with executive team to build robust acquisition pipeline for regions that provide for long-term profit growth. Ensure proper resource allocation, timelines and outcome expectations are followed. Develop high-level, strategic relationships with acquisition targets and other project partners.
- Support business units to analyze, qualify, prioritize and establish sales for these products in assigned region(s).
