As part of the Generac Marketing Team, the Channel Marketing Manager will execute marketing strategies to drive growth with existing customers and acquire new customers. In this exciting new role, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with dealers and partner with them to run various marketing campaigns and initiatives that lead to Generac's continued success.
Major Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic channel marketing plans to achieve revenue and growth targets.
- Prioritize, build and execute effective marketing campaigns that generate leads and accelerate them through the funnel
- Analyze and report on the performance of channel marketing programs, communications, promotions, assets, and media presenting insights and recommendations to leadership.
- Collaborate with the sales leadership team to curate equipment and service sales experience
- Drive the development of compelling marketing communications, collateral, presentations, and promotional materials to inform, educate, engage, and support channel partners.
- Conduct in-depth market research, analyzing trends, identifying opportunities, and ensuring a competitive edge in the industry.
- Provide training and support to channel partners, ensuring a deep understanding of our marketing and sales programs.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key channel partners and vendors including external agencies and creative vendors building plans, negotiating agreements, and optimizing mutual success.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align channel marketing initiatives with overall company goals and strategies.
- Manage budgets effectively, ensuring optimal allocation of resources for maximum ROI. Experience developing and managing Marketing Development Funds or Co-Op Fund programs and budgets preferred.
- Track and analyze competitive marketing at a regional level
- Support local sponsorships / events / partnerships as needed
- Get familiar with local incentives and develop programs that leverage those incentives to make it as easy as possible to do business with Generac
