Job Summary:
Generators On Demand is seeking a highly energetic and detail-oriented Generator Installation Lead to oversee and execute the installation of generators. This role requires hands-on work, a strong focus on customer care and communication is essential.
What you’ll do:
- Manage Life Cycle Installation (Planning reviews through closing work order, final invoice)
- Manage Subcontractors (Electrical and Plumbing) – includes escalation when issues arise.
- Participate in Emergency on call rotation for Generator repairs.
- Support electricians in wiring installations and perform gas work as required.
- Oversee generator startup procedures and provide customer walkthroughs.
- Collaborate closely with the sales and back-office team.
- Pull Town Permits and Maintain relationships with town inspectors.
- Build relationships with the customer.
What you’ll bring:
- Proven experience in generator installation, service, or repair.
- Strong understanding of electrical and gas installation requirements.
- Strong leadership skills to guide installation teams and coordinate with electricians.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites.
