Job Title
The Automated Control Systems Manager position oversees the development, execution, and delivery of new control system projects, as well as maintains existing equipment. Responsibilities include designing automation controls systems, programming PLCs/HMIs, troubleshooting, and commissioning start-ups. This role also contributes to overall team performance by training/mentoring associates, providing technical assistance, and improving processes and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Solve equipment controls issues and implement improvements
- Provide capital project control system guidance to equipment suppliers and installation contractors
- Act as the SME for facility engineering resources on control systems programming
- Prepare project deliverables, including statements of work, status reports, and budgets
This role requires a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering and approximately 3 years of experience with programming industrial controls, PLCs, HMIs, and industrial communication protocols. Additionally, expertise in managing technical projects through various phases is essential.
