Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in improving customer service levels and working capital.
- Coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials within or between departments.
- Review and distribute production, work, and shipment schedules.
- Confer with department supervisors to determine progress of work and completion dates.
- Monitor inventory levels and solve production problems.
- Communicate regularly with purchasing and production staff to adjust schedules.
- Collaborate with corporate demand planners and business units' cross-functional teams to develop and improve strategies and processes.
- Provide recommendations on inventory strategies.
- Responsible for scheduling and releasing daily work.
- Develop and maintain product configuration assumptions.
- Work with product management to understand new product introduction and end-of-sale product transitions.
- Support the seamless interaction of purchasing and materials management.
- Act as the day-to-day point of contact for operations.
Requirements:
- Associate's degree in a related field or 2 years of experience in the supply chain function.
- 1 year of purchasing, planning, or related experience in a manufacturing environment.
