What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Administrator I position at General Air Products Inc?
Sales Administrators receive and process sale orders online, or via phone and email. Their duties include checking the accuracy of orders, providing pricing, producing tracking information as well as supplying copies of invoices upon the customer’s request.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receive and process sales orders
- Answer incoming calls
- Answer incoming emails
- Manage Sales Orders through the database
- Assist outside sales
- Suggest and help implement improvements to current Customer Service, Production, Inventory, and Shipping Best Practices and SOP’s
- Effective Communication
- Customer Responsiveness
- Drive continuous improvement throughout the company
- Assist with training room set up & scheduling
QUALIFICATIONS (previous education and work experience)
- High School diploma or GED
- An associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business administration or similar preferred
- 2 experience in sales administration, or in a similar role.
- Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills
- Experience with Microsoft programs
- Proficiency with word processing and spreadsheet software.
- Creative with a never-ending stream of ideas and improvements for products and customer experiences
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Process and metric oriented
- Experience or ability to quickly learn

Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
