We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager I to join our Data Rights team. The selected candidate will be assigned to the Proposal Cost Estimating / Data Rights team.
This position supervises the coordination and administration of data rights related research, documentation, and analysis to ensure protection of GA intellectual property. The selected candidate will oversee employees that participate in proposal kick off meetings, research and identify any and all intellectual property associated with the proposed contractual effort to ensure documentary evidence of appropriate assertions and data restrictions / limitations. The position includes frequent participation in cross-functional meetings with various stakeholders, such as Program Managers, Project Engineers, and Contracting Officers.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsibility and oversight of the investigation on a variety of data sources, documents, and artifacts (e.g., engineering drawings, technical reports and presentations, labor charging history, software release packages) to determine appropriate data rights markings and assertions.
- Responsibility and oversight on the release of Data Rights Memos and Assertions.
- Participate in a variety of recurring and ad-hoc company internal meetings.
- Update and maintain data and documentation on company internal SharePoint and network folders.
- Record job function related metrics, such as daily / weekly deliverables and work products.
- Participate in special projects as assigned by manager.
- Develop and facilitate training related to data rights.
- Provide input and update job related desktop guides, FAQs, work instructions and procedures.
- Monitor staff direct utilization to ensure operating Thresholds are met.
- Provide opportunity growth for staff.
- Perform new hire candidate interviews, managing, planning, selection, and retention of staff.
- Conduct annual assessment and merit cycle of staff.
- Prepare PowerPoint presentations and conduct presentations for cross functional groups as needed.
- Develop and maintain MS Excel charts, reports, graphs, and spreadsheets.
- Responsible for observing all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company.
- Expected to work in a safe manner in accordance with established operating practices and procedures.

Job Qualifications:
- Typically requires a Bachelors in Business Administration or related discipline and at least six years of progressively complex experience in project administration. May substitute equivalent experience in lieu of education.
- Must have a good understanding of project management processes and procedures, planning and scheduling methods, and budget management as well as the ability to organize, schedule, and coordinate workloads to meet established milestones and budgets.
- Must possess: (1) the ability to initiate, plan and manage projects; (2) the ability to identify issues, analyze and interpret data and develop solutions to a wide range of issues; (3) strong communication, computer, documentation, presentation, and interpersonal skills; and, (4) the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to obtain and maintain DoD security clearance is required.
