Job Summary: The Shipping & Receiving Material Handler is responsible for the accurate and timely handling of all incoming and outgoing materials. This includes receiving products, materials, components, and supplies, as well as preparing and shipping orders to customers and external vendors in accordance with their specific requirements. The role ensures smooth, efficient, and compliant shipping and receiving operations to support overall business needs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
1. Ship customer orders in accordance with specific requirements using LTL carriers, FedEx Ship Manager, and UPS WorldShip.
2. Promptly and safely load and unload delivery trucks as needed.
3. Weigh outgoing shipments and verify that all shipping documentation is accurate and complete.
4. Receive and inspect incoming deliveries; verify against purchase orders and packing slips, and distribute materials accordingly.
5. Operate company vehicles in a safe and courteous manner.
6. Pull and deliver materials required for production and order fulfillment to appropriate areas.
7. Perform various additional tasks and support duties as needed.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Required Skills and Behaviors:
· Previous forklift experience is required.
· Must be able to follow both verbal and written instructions accurately.
· Strong ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
· Must maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
· Demonstrated ability to operate a forklift in accordance with all safety guidelines and procedures.
Work Availability:
· Ability to travel to other locations as needed.
· Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance at such level as is determined by management.
· Must be available and willing to work such weekends and holidays as the employer determines are necessary or desirable to meet its business needs.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position. Typical hours of work are:
1st Shift Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., 40 hours per week
