General Door is growing and it needs your help!
We are looking for experienced Foremen to help us satisfy our ever growing client list and we hope you’re the person for the job! As a Foreman at General Door you will be driving one of our newer commercial work trucks around Southern California.
Experience in servicing, repairing and installing: entry doors, roll-up doors and dock levelers is a large part of our everyday business. All B2B, no residential.
You don't have to know all of it but having well rounded experience is important. If you have several years as a Foreman with Vortex, Lawrence Door, Commercial Door, R&S, or Miner Fleet you should have a good portion of the skills required for what we do.
Responsibilities
- Install and hang commercial doors using hand and power tools, ensuring proper alignment and functionality.
- Perform heavy lifting and maneuvering of doors and hardware on construction sites.
- Conduct glass installations and welding tasks as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines are met and safety protocols are followed.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge and fabrication skills to troubleshoot and resolve installation issues.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
