Overview
Electric Boat Corporation is seeking candidates for Department 440: Payload Launch Control. Payload Launch Control is responsible for payload, countermeasure, and weapon handling, launching, and recovery electronic control systems for all US submarine classes. The department is responsible for submarine integration of government furnished fire control systems that perform weapon targeting as well as internal and external countermeasure launching electronics, and is responsible for in house design, development, test, and support of handling, launch, and recovery control systems. Control systems are typically complex embedded control systems consisting of a combination of commercial off the shelf electronics and custom designed electronics. Department engineers are responsible for initial concept development, requirements specification, development and selection of electronic hardware, integration with software, testing, life cycle support, and support of the shipyard and the in service fleet. A successful candidate will have the ability to work in a fast paced, team environment, coordinating with other disciplines, while meeting schedule and budget constraints.

Education/Experience
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Systems Engineering; other engineering disciplines will be considered
