- Develop and analyze statistical and product/process performance data to recommend and implement improvements. Provide Quality support with the objective of improving manufacturing and inspection process performance and capability.
- Execute the initiatives of the organization in the development, implementation, and improvement of the appropriate Quality Management Systems throughout the operation with all the documentation required. This includes providing advanced quality planning support in the development and launch of new products, processes, and services, along with continuous improvement of existing product lines.
- Provide Quality interface and expertise between the organization and its customers and suppliers to proactively assure that needs and expectations are understood and satisfied. This includes contract review/flow down, the compliance management process, and the implementation of corresponding corrective/preventive actions.
- Lead creation and maintenance of Quality Plans and Production Plan Approval Process (to include Inspection Plans/ Techniques, Statistical Process Control Plans, Process Mapping, PFMEA, Control Plan, MSA, FAIR, etc.) for our products and processes.
- Develop, implement, and audit inspection and test plans, standards and acceptance criteria, and procedures/work instructions to support the value stream.
- Facilitate the investigation and elimination of quality problems, and follow-up on corrective actions. Lead problem solving activities and events and ensure that issues affecting product quality have effective, data-based, problem resolution plans to include, containment, root cause, corrective, and preventive actions, as well as statistical validation of corrective action effectiveness to minimize both product quality and delivery impact.
- Make recommendations that improve product and process quality, throughput, and/or costs.
- Perform preliminary MRB reviews to assess product and our options to further process products. Document nonconformance concession submittals to customer.
- Provide technical expertise to company employees, suppliers, customers and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with contractual, company, and regulatory requirements.
- Attention to detail to Customer Requirement interpretation experience is a MUST
- Execute a 'Zero Defects' & 'Right First time' culture.
- Propose Operational Excellence (OPEX) & Continuous Improvements (CI) to management.
- Participate in OPEX and CI activities to improve our business.
- Lead Root Cause & Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations.
- Ensure parts are handled and protected in a suitable manner to prevent damage during operations and movement.
- Comply with any other guidelines as defined in the Employee Handbook.
- Comply with company housekeeping standards.
- Adhere to company EH&S Policies.
- To perform other such duties as generally correspond to the nature of the position and its level of responsibility.
