Supplier Quality Engineer
In the Electric Boat Supplier Quality Engineering Department, we pride ourselves on being adaptable to every employee's experiences and values.

Engineers will be responsible for onboarding and managing Supplier Quality's casting and forging vendors as part of Electric Boat's raw material procurement strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review of Ordering Data
- Supplier Capability Assessments
- SUPPLIER QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM REVIEWS
- Process Audits
- Process/ product inspection
In addition, engineers will evaluate material defects and quality trends to identify areas requiring supplier root cause assessments and corrective actions.
This role will require travel to supplier locations to develop an understanding of manufacturing and quality practices used by suppliers to ensure purchase order requirements are met.

- Excellent team player, with ability to work effectively within Supply Chain Management teams to meet both Navy and EB goals.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in an Engineering or Engineering Technology discipline
- Able to travel (potentially extensively at times)
- Able to hold and maintain a SECRET DoD security clearance
- 2 years of relevant experience in Quality Engineering, Systems Engineering, and/or Waterfront Engineering
