Material Planner

Overview:

• Review and fill Material Move Tickets for Warehouse SW
• Review and fill Pick Tickets for Warehouse TR
• Receive and stage material from other sites
• Package and ship material to other sites
• Perform purchase order receipt and issue for purchased material
• Review usage and manage coded stock inventory

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Must be able to be granted a security clearance within 1 year of onboarding
• 2 years as a planner or material coordinator

• Experience in shipyard production planning/warehouse operations
• Previous material coordinator experience a plus

Skills:

• Computer skills including knowledge of MRPII, Electronic Desktop, ITS, and the Microsoft Office Suite
• Good organizational skills and an attention to detail
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Able to obtain a forklift license
