The Quonset Point Facilities Department is seeking two 2nd Shift Program Representatives to provide direct oversight of facility vendors who repair, maintain, and make improvements to critical infrastructure and utilities. This position also provides response subject matter expertise to all emergent situations as required.
- Candidates will work with Shift Supervision to plan and coordinate all vendor work. Candidates will provide input toward the efforts of planning, budgeting, and prioritization of all work.
- Candidates will coordinate with 1st shift Vendor Oversight to provide continuation of coverage for monitoring of critical systems and infrastructure.
- A high degree of knowledge and experience in all facets of vendor oversight and facility management is required.
- A thorough understanding of OSHA regulations, environmental requirements, building codes, etc. is required.
- Excellent written and oral communications skills will be necessary to interact with all levels of site leadership
- Independent decision making is required.
The successful candidate must be self-motivating, be able to work independently, possess good written and oral communications skills, maintain a questioning attitude, as well as be proficient technically with a willingness to continuously learn.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3 years of experience in facility construction, engineering, or maintenance of mechanical and/or building systems is required
- 3 years of experience with multiple discipline vendor work force is required
- Internal candidates must be from outside of operations (Casciano/Gabriel)
Preferred / Desired Skills:
- Master Electrician or HVAC Tech License
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management
- Project Management or Facilities Management certification preferred
- OSHA 30 hour preferred
