HOW A MACHINERY MAINTENANCE MECHANIC WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Set up and operate CNC machines, including HAAS, HURCO, TOYODA and DAEWOO
Set up and productively operate CNC machines to perform precision machining operations, with the ability to read and edit programs (G codes / M codes)
Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations
Use of both part probes and Renishaw tool setters
Select and install cutting tools, adjust machine settings, and monitor the machining process to ensure quality and accuracy
Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments to verify conformance to specifications
Make adjustments to machine settings as necessary to maintain product quality
Clean and maintain machines on a daily basis to ensure optimal performance
Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while operating machinery
Previous experience setting up and operating CNC milling machines in a manufacturing environment, FANUC, HURCO and HAAS controls.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED :

Minimum of 5 years of experience as a CNC Machinist

Proficient in basic math skills for measurements and calculations

Strong knowledge of Fanuc controls and programming

Mechanical aptitude and understanding of machine operations

Ability to assemble, disassemble, and troubleshoot machinery

Proficient in the use of hand tools and precision measuring instruments

Secret clearance required.

This position requires attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely hourly rate for this position is between $25.92 - $35.08. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
