How a Machinery Maintenance Mechanic Will Make An Impact
The likely hourly rate for this position is between $25.92 - $35.08. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.

How a Machinery Maintenance Mechanic Will Make An Impact
- Set up and operate CNC machines, including HAAS, HURCO, TOYODA and DAEWOO
- Set up and productively operate CNC machines to perform precision machining operations, with the ability to read and edit programs (G codes / M codes)
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations
- Use of both part probes and Renishaw tool setters
- Select and install cutting tools, adjust machine settings, and monitor the machining process to ensure quality and accuracy
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments to verify conformance to specifications
- Make adjustments to machine settings as necessary to maintain product quality
- Clean and maintain machines on a daily basis to ensure optimal performance
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while operating machinery
- Previous experience setting up and operating CNC milling machines in a manufacturing environment, FANUC, HURCO and HAAS controls.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a CNC Machinist
- Proficient in basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Strong knowledge of Fanuc controls and programming
- Mechanical aptitude and understanding of machine operations
- Ability to assemble, disassemble, and troubleshoot machinery
- Proficient in the use of hand tools and precision measuring instruments
- Secret clearance required.
- This position requires attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
