What are the responsibilities and job description for the Provisioning Analyst position at General Dynamics Land Systems?
This position is for a bargaining unit provisioner who will develop provisioning data that includes Engineering Data for Provisioning (EDFP), parts screening, and provisioned part lists.
Review the LMP data staging area files against the GDLS TDP.
Review technical data to verify the database matches the current configuration delivered.
Review Provisioning LSA-036 submittals prior to delivery to Government.
Verify the Provisioning data elements complies with the Logistics Modernization Program (LMP).
Review drawings, Change Requests (CR), Engineering Change Proposals (ECP), computer models and other technical documentation to identify and confirm provisioning requirements for the design.
Establish the development, maintenance, and update of Logistic Support Analysis Records (LSAR) in accordance with GEIA-STD-0007, MIL-STD-1388-2B, using SLICwave.
Document provisioning data in the Logistic Support Analysis Record (LSAR) database.
Investigate customer and internal inquiries and provide responses, reports, and materials as required.
Position Requirements:
Must be on-site for a minimum of 6 months to receive training.
Must be experienced with government Logistics Support Analysis Record (LSAR) specifications MIL-STD-1388-2B and GEIA-0007.
Must be experienced with Logistics Control Numbers (LCNs), Provisioning List Item Sequence Numbers (PLISNs), Source, Maintenance & Recoverability (SMR) codes, Provisioning Contract Control Numbers (PCCNs), Usable On Codes (UOCs).
Experienced with relational table databases such as SlicWave, Powerlog-J.
Must be experienced with IETM viewers such as EMS2, EMS NG, IADS.
Must be experienced with automotive or military maintenance/service tasks and how they relate to provisioning.
Must have excellent customer rapport and ability to work with the customer.
Must be able to meet quality standards as set forth by the department manager.
Must self-edit all developed information. Must be able to read and interpret mechanical drawings.
Must be experienced with Adobe Professional . Must be experienced with all Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access).
Must be able to interpret illustrated parts breakdown figures to support the operation, maintenance and repair of tracked and wheeled military vehicles.
Must know how to apply provisioning codes to specific part applications.
Must be able to work closely with other logistics engineers and TM personnel to ensure data will support all logistics deliverables (TM's, IETM's and LSA-36 data).
Working knowledge and logistics experience with systems, subsystems, and components associated with heavy and/or medium mobile system operation and maintenance preferred.
Familiarity with U.S. Army logistics support structure, policies and procedures. Understanding of ECP/CR/ERR process preferred.
