We currently have an exciting opportunity in our Coating department. This position specifically is located in Norfolk, Virginia. We are looking for a Painter J-4.
Shift : ALL
Security Clearance : No Clearance
GUIDELINES FOR MARINE PAINTER
JOURNEYPERSON 4 (Marine Painter)
- Must meet all Journeyperson Marine Painter 3 requirements
- Must also know how to set-up jobs and spraying equipment
- Must know how to measure and record DFT and environmental readings
- Must be proficient in brush and rolling painting, general house cleaning, or knowledge of all pumping (gas free) procedures
- Must be able to oversee a small group of people
- Should be able to troubleshoot equipment to ensure the job progresses
- Must be proficient in the requirements of NAVSEA 009-32 standard item
