What are the responsibilities and job description for the Information Systems Security Management position at General Dynamics?
As an Information Systems Security Management (ISSM), you will play a critical role in supporting customer activities and ensuring the safety of information systems assets. This includes managing analysts who ensure system security, providing support for program or organizational systems, and coordinating with data custodians to identify security categorizations and manage risk. You will also maintain current system information in XACTA, evaluate network and system changes using RMF processes, and submit recommendations for system configuration deviations. Additionally, you will develop and maintain a system security plan, conduct periodic reviews to ensure compliance, and formally notify stakeholders of changes that affect authorization. Your expertise in RMF, ICD 503, CNSSI 1253, NIST SP 800-53/53A, and STIGs will be essential in this role. With a strong background in documentation skills, experience with XACTA 360, Continuum, and other SCAP Compliant tools, and a TS/SCI clearance with active polygraph, you will be well-suited for this position.
