What are the responsibilities and job description for the Purchasing and Returns Clerk position at General Floor Industries?
General Floor is the largest wholesale flooring distributor in NJ, PA, and DE.
We're looking for a full-time Purchasing and Returns Admin/Clerk to support our Special Order/Returns Department at our main office in Bellmawr, NJ. Preferred hours are 8 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Research, review, and submit all product return request to vendors
- Update database with return info
- Perform in house inspections of product for return purposes
- Obtain freight quotes for return of shipments
- Review and process vendor credits
- Review orders for accuracy
- Release and send purchase orders to suppliers & vendors
- Compile weekly end of month reports and reconcile open order reports
- Communicate with vendors, branch personnel and internal departments
