We are seeking a Project Manager supporting the Customer Service Center for the Office of the Chief Financial Office of Justice Programs-(OJP) for a full-time position in McLean, VA.
Summary:
The successful incumbent is expected to provide operational and technical support to the Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO). This includes ensuring high-quality financial management services, supporting the Grant Accounting and Customer Service Branch (GACSB), and maintaining the Customer Service Center (CSC). Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 level support for telephone and email assistance.
- Address financial questions from OJP staff, grantees, and the public.
- Perform complex financial reconciliations and manage grants.
- Develop financial policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Operate a Customer Service Center to handle financial inquiries.
- Deliver technical assistance and financial management support.
- This position focuses on financial grant support, reconciliation, and customer service operations, requiring personnel with strong financial expertise and supervisory skills.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Business Administration, Finance, Criminal Justice, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of professional experience supervising staff in relevant fields.
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Project or similar project management tools
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Time management skills to meet deadlines
