Description
General Kinematics is the premier manufacturer of vibrating equipment for the processing of bulk
materials. From vibratory feeders to entire process systems, General Kinematics creates the solutions
customers require to process even the most difficult materials.
We are currently looking for a qualified IT Associate to join our team to provide support to our Engineering and IT Departments for the following responsibilities:
IT Associate Responsibilities
- Technical understanding of Windows Environments, Microsoft Office, Active Directory, and the hardware and software being supported.
- Assist Help Desk with providing first-level contact support to end users on IT problems
- Assess and escalate more difficult problems to Tier 2 support
- Log Help Desk activity into Ticketing system,
- Assist with software installations, repairs and/or laptop/desktop PC configurations
- Troubleshoot printers, copiers and all-in-one units
- Assist with new-hire onboarding
- Assist with creating self-help training documents, and training individuals or groups as needed
- Assist with special projects as assigned
- Fully support the Company’s ISO objectives, policies, procedures, and the GK WAY program.
Requirements
- Associates degree preferred or equivalent work experience
- One to two years of Help Desk experience
- Knowledge of Windows 10 and Microsoft Office Suite products
- Knowledge of MS Domain Environment, Network technologies, Ethernet and Wireless
