Counter Sales Associate

General Plumbing Supply is a family owned plumbing, heating, kitchen and bath wholesale-distributor established in 1910. There are currently 24 locations across New Jersey and New York.

We are looking to add a counter sales associate in our Orange, NJ branch.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality customer service at the counter level, including writing and processing orders, answering questions on products, relaying pertinent order information to customers, and coordinating with other departments
• Discussing the use and function of different merchandise, and helping customers choose the products that meet their needs
• Assist with the pulling of orders and stocking the counter
• Manage returns of merchandise
• Provide customer feedback to the Store Manager
• Inform customers about discounts and special offers

Requirement

• Plumbing and/or HVAC/R knowledge/experience
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to perform in fast-paced environments
• Knowledge of the ERP Eipicor Eclipse is a plus
• Must be a team player able to achieve the goals and objectives as mandated by the Branch Manager.
• Valid driver's license

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
