What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Coordinator position at GENERAL TECHNOLOGIES INC?
Corporate office in Stafford, Texas for a manufacturer has an immediate opening to add a Warehouse Coordinator to our team. This position will be responsible for intercepting emails from the sales team and assigning pick-tickets to the order pullers in the warehouse. The ideal candidate will be computer savvy, ability to type 60 wpm or better, and have a keen eye for detail. The company will rely on the Coordinator for having accurate and updated data that is easily accessible through a digital database.
Responsibilities (Include but are not limited to) :
- Seldom needing to assist with performing cycle counts
- Coordinating sales orders in the warehouse and monitoring the progress of completion
- Verifying that orders are staged at the correct areas
- Tracking all order statuses; ready, in progress or shipped
- Create spreadsheets, enter data and update information
- Verify data by comparing it to source documents
- Retrieve data from the database or electronic files as requested
- Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation
- Sort and organize paperwork after entering data to ensure it is not lost
- Answering emails related to the warehouse.
- Verifying completed picking tickets and packing lists to ensure that the order got pulled correctly
- Scheduling truckloads
- Providing the sales team estimated weights and dimensions
- Providing freight quotes
