Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations in the warehouse and factory, ensuring streamlined workflow, effective inventory control, and adherence to safety protocols.
- Coordinate logistics, transportation, and distribution to ensure product quality and timely delivery.
- Monitor equipment maintenance and troubleshoot operational issues to minimize downtime.
- Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) to improve productivity and maintain a safe work environment.
- Serve as the primary on-site contact for employee questions and concerns, addressing local HR matters such as attendance, performance feedback, and minor conflict resolution.
- Support recruitment and onboarding activities in coordination with headquarters, ensuring new employees are integrated smoothly.
- Promote a positive workplace culture, reinforcing company policies and values, and ensuring compliance with local labor laws.
- Collaborate with the HR team in California on more complex HR functions such as payroll, benefits, and policy updates.
- Manage budget allocations for warehouse and factory operations, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
- Track and analyze operational expenses, implementing strategies to optimize costs without compromising quality or safety.
- Work closely with other departments (e.g., Procurement, Sales, Finance) to align operations with company objectives and production schedules.
- Report to senior management on operational metrics and employee feedback, identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Implement process enhancements to support continuous improvement in both operational efficiency and employee satisfaction.
- Travel to the home office in Irvine, California as needed and requested.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse or factory operations management.
- Proven leadership abilities, with experience in employee relations or basic HR support.
- Strong knowledge of logistics, inventory management, and safety regulations.
- Familiarity with HR processes and ability to collaborate effectively with remote HR teams.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
