Service Advisor

We are currently seeking a Service Advisor to join our growing team! This position is responsible for building long lasting customer and industry relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and selling General Truck Sales services. We are looking for someone with excellent customer service skills, strong verbal and written communication skills, a strong work ethic and the ability to take direction while working in our state-of-the-art dealership facility! Essential Duties:

• Greet customers and respond to their needs in a timely manner
• Determine service problems/needs by clarifying issues with the customer
• Verify warranty and service contract coverage
• Develop repair estimate and review with the customer
• Prepare repair order and obtain approval to complete work
• Monitor technician progress in each repair
• Maintain rapport through timely follow-up with the customer
• Present repair order and address questions that may arise during the payment process

Qualifications:

• Must be highly focused on providing an industry-leading customer experience
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Work well with others
• Mechanical and sales experience is a plus
• Automotive/Heavy truck experience and knowledge helpful
• Previous Service Advisor preferred but not required
• Able to explain mechanical information to the general public
• People oriented with outstanding customer service skills and attention to detail
• Good computer skills
• Valid driver’s license required
• Ability to pass background check, MVR, & drug screen required

Pay: Up to $90,000.00 per year
