Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Supply Chain Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in optimizing our supply chain processes, ensuring efficient logistics, and enhancing overall operational performance. This position requires a strong understanding of supply chain management principles and the ability to collaborate effectively across various departments.
Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate logistics activities to ensure timely delivery of products.
- Develop and implement demand planning strategies to align inventory levels with customer needs.
- Collaborate with suppliers to procure materials and components necessary for production.
- Analyze supply chain processes to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements.
- Utilize SAP software for tracking inventory levels, orders, and shipments.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to streamline operations and reduce waste.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to support fabrication processes and ensure material availability.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to supply chain efficiency and effectiveness.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of logistics principles and practices.
- Experience in demand planning and supply chain management.
- Proficient in process improvement methodologies, including Lean principles.
- Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems for supply chain operations.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions based on findings.
